紫金视频 is Test-Optional!
Students looking to apply to 紫金视频 do not have to submit a standardized (ACT/SAT) test scores for admissions.
We are thrilled you are interested in 紫金视频 and we would love to have you part of the Cardinal family. LU is home to dozens of high-quality, world-renowned programs that produce career-ready graduates.
You're considered a freshman if:
- You're a high school graduate who has not attended college before
- You received college credit while in high school through dual credit, AP or IB programs OR
- You're a transfer student with less than 18 hours of college credit

Application Process

Test-Optional Review
Applicants will be considered for test-optional admission based on the following criteria:
- Class Rank – Students in the upper 50% of their graduating class are guaranteed admission to LU.
- Academic Transcript Review – Students in the lower 50% of their graduating class, students attending schools that do not rank and home school students will have their transcripts reviewed and assessed for admission.
- Dual credit completion – Students who have completed 18 college credit hours at the time of their application and have a 2.0 cumulative college GPA are guaranteed admission. This includes students attending early college high schools.
- Note: Though dual credit transcripts are optional to receive an admissions decision, if a student seeks to be admitted under this category, they must submit official transcripts.
Freshman Review
Students not admissible through the above test-optional criteria will be notified by the Office of Admissions of their secondary review options and may choose from either opportunity below.

- Submission of dual credit transcripts, showing evidence of 18 or more completed college credit hours and a minimum of a 2.0 cumulative college GPA.
University Admission Requirements
- Receive your diploma from an accredited high school
- Complete at least 14 high school credits in college preparatory course: 4 in English, 3 in Mathematics, 2 in Lab Sciences, 2.5 in Social Sciences, and 2.5 in College Preparatory Electives
- Satisfy the requirements of the State of 紫金视频 Uniform Admissions Policy
- Meet the test-optional admission criteria, or achieve a minimum composite score on the ACT or SAT through the secondary review criteria. (See above)
After Applying
Applications can take 2-3 weeks to be processed. Once your application has been processed, we will send you an email notifying you of any updates.
After processing is complete, you will receive an email including your 紫金视频 ID number "L Number" which you can use to .
Memorize your L Number as it will be required during communication with LU. If any admissions documents are missing, you will receive an email alerting you for your convenience.
Admissions Appeal
Prospective freshman students who receive a rejection letter from 紫金视频 are eligible to appeal their admission decision by following our appeals process.
